Privacy Policy for Plant Points

Last Updated: 19th March 2026

At Everett App Development, one of our main priorities is the privacy of our users. This Privacy Policy document contains types of information that is collected and recorded by Plant Points and how we use it.

If you have additional questions or require more information about our Privacy Policy, do not hesitate to contact us by emailing alexander@everettappdevelopment.com.

1. Data Collection and Usage Disclosure

Plant Points does not collect directly identifiable personal information (such as your name, email, or address). Data collection is limited to device identifiers, anonymized payment information, and app usage data.

All data entered into or created by using the app is stored locally on the device and is not accessible by Everett App Development or third parties.

No User Accounts: This app does not support or require user account creation. Therefore, there is no personal account data stored on our servers, and no account deletion is required or possible.

Data Security: Any anonymized data or payment information transmitted to our third-party service providers (RevenueCat, Google) is encrypted in transit using secure connections (HTTPS).

No AI Training: We do not use any user data, app usage data, or crash diagnostics to train artificial intelligence or machine learning models.

2. Data Retention Policy

We maintain the following data retention standards to ensure user privacy:

  • On-Device Data: Locally stored data is retained until the app is deleted from the device.
  • Anonymized Analytics & Diagnostics: Usage data (page views, button clicks, etc) and crash reports collected via Google Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics are retained for a maximum of 14 months, after which they are automatically deleted. Crash logs may include technical data such as device model, OS version, app version, and a unique, anonymous Installation UUID to help us identify and fix crashes.
  • Purchase Data: Anonymized transaction receipts are retained for the duration of your active subscription to ensure service continuity.

3. In-App Payments and RevenueCat

In the case of in-app payments, payment is made via RevenueCat Inc., 300 Euclid Avenue San Francisco, CA 94118, USA, to whom we pass on the information you provided during the ordering process together with the information about your order. Your data will be passed on in accordance with Article 6 Paragraph 1 Letter b GDPR exclusively for the purpose of payment processing and only to the extent that it is necessary for this. We have concluded an order processing contract with RevenueCat Inc., with which we oblige the provider to protect the data of the app users and not to pass it on to third parties.

Further information on data protection by RevenueCat can be found here: https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy

4. Device Permissions

The app requests the following device permissions:

  • Network Access: To process payments, serve ads, and record anonymized analytics/crashes.
  • Notifications: To send reminders created by the user.

Access is only requested at the time it is needed and usage is no further than the minimum required for the feature to work. No data accessed with these permissions is transmitted to Everett App Development or third parties.

5. Third-Party Data Collection

The Plant Points app is provided through Google Play and The App Store for Android and iOS devices respectively. These services have their own privacy policies that can be found here:

These services provide us access to generalized data about the application's usage, for example, installs and uninstalls of the app. They also provide us with information on the user subscriptions. None of this data can be used to personally identify a user. Collection of analytics data about app usage can be disabled within the application at any time.

International Data Transfers: Your information, including data processed by our third-party service providers, may be transferred to — and maintained on — servers located outside of your state, province, country, or other governmental jurisdiction where data protection laws may differ. We ensure our providers (such as Google and RevenueCat) use standard contractual clauses or similar legal mechanisms to protect your data.

6. Consent to Share Consumption Data with Apple

By using our app and making in-app purchases on an Apple device, you consent to our sharing of data regarding your usage and consumption of purchased content with Apple, as part of our efforts to resolve refund requests. This information may include details about how you have accessed and interacted with the purchased content. The purpose of sharing this data is to help Apple make an informed decision regarding refund requests. We ensure that such data sharing is done in compliance with Apple's policies and only as necessary to process your requests.

7. Our Advertising Partners

The Plant Points app uses AdMob (provided by Google Inc.) to serve advertisements. We have configured AdMob to serve only non-personalized ads. This means ad selection is not based on your past behavior or personal data.

However, to facilitate ad delivery and prevent abuse, AdMob still collects the following information:

  • Advertising ID: On supported devices, an Advertising ID (such as the Android Advertising ID) is collected for frequency capping (limiting how many times the same ad is shown), aggregated reporting, and fraud/invalid click prevention. Because we do not track users across other apps, we do not request or collect the Apple Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA) on iOS.
  • Device & Network Information: Your IP address and basic device information may be collected to determine coarse location (e.g., city or country level) for localized ad delivery and security purposes.

For more detailed information on how Google collects and uses this data, please review the Google Partner Advertising Privacy Policy.

8. Children's Information

Another part of our priority is adding protection for children while using the internet. We encourage parents and guardians to observe, participate in, and/or monitor and guide their online activity.

Plant Points does not knowingly collect any Personal Identifiable Information from children under the age of digital consent in their respective jurisdictions (e.g., under 13 in the US, or under 16 in the EU). If you think that your child provided this kind of information on our App, we strongly encourage you to contact us immediately and we will do our best efforts to promptly remove such information from our records.

9. Your Data Protection Rights

Depending on your location (e.g., the EEA, UK, or California), you may have certain data protection rights, including the right to access, rectify, or erase your personal data. Because we do not store any of your personal data on our servers, you can fulfill most of these rights (e.g., the right to erasure of local data) by simply uninstalling the application and clearing the app's local data from your device. You may also contact us to request the deletion of any anonymized logs associated with your specific device identifiers from our third-party databases.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. Under California law, users have the right to opt-out of the "sharing" of personal data for targeted advertising. As we solely serve non-personalized advertisements, this data processing strictly complies with these limitations. If you have specific requests or questions, please contact us at the email provided above.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the 'Last Updated' date at the top. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.

11. Consent

By using our app, you hereby consent to our Privacy Policy and agree to its Terms and Conditions.
